Welcome to our seed bank listing.  Here you will find a selection of hard-to-find crops that grow well under difficult growing conditions, particularly in the tropics and subtropics.  Each species is marked by one or more letters indicating a particular climate zone in which that plant thrives.  Please use the environment key to help determine which climate zone applies to you.

Seeds may be requested click on Seed Orders. Sample packets are available to those working on behalf of the poor, particularly in developing countries.

Due to limited quantities, we are not able to distribute large amounts of seed. Rather, if and when a species shows promise, recipients save and multiply their own seed or purchase larger quantities from other sources.
