HERBS

Herbs are generally delicate plants that are used to flavor foods.  Only a handful of herbs grow well in the hot humid summers of Florida.  In the tropics it is best to transplant or seed herbs in the cooler months.  For herbs it is ideal to establish them in an area that will get sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon.  Herbs are most commonly used in cooking, but they also can be used for home remedies.
