We appreciate the businesses and organizations who work with us to help improve the lives of the poor and feed the over 900 million hungry people in the world.

Through their generous support, these partners are truly making a difference as they demonstrate community in action.  Through your support of these businesses and organizations, you are supporting the work of ECHO throughout the world.

If your business or organization would like to find out how you can become involved, please contact Jeff Reach at jreach@echonet.org

How can you become involved at the corporate level to support our important work with the poor?

Support our corporate partners by using their services and products

As a consumer, consider purchasing products or services from the generous corporations who give back to their communities. There are many businesses that include benevolence and corporate giving in their core values and business plans.

Ask your employer about their matching gift program

There are thousands of philanthropic companies that reward their employees and retirees with their generous matching gifts for their volunteerism or their outright donations.  For example, Exxon Mobil has a program that pays a $500 grant for 20 or more hours of time volunteered; an organization can receive up to $5,000 from an individual’s involvement.  This could help pay for an intern to study at ECHO or a golf cart to take people on tours of our farm.

Other companies that have charitable matching gift programs include Pfizer, who matches 1:1 and Johnson & Johnson, who match up to 2:1.  Bank of America has a volunteer matching gift program, and IBM also has a matching gift ratio for retirees of .50:1 for cash matches.  Each company has eligibility information specific to their organization, so please make sure they will match our focus.

ECHO has the resources to find out if your company doubles or even triples your investment in our fight against world hunger.  You may also call your employer, or you may look up the company on www.matchinggifts.com to see if they participate in a matching gifts program.

As a business, partner with us for as an event sponsor.

Our Passport to the World Travel Adventure Film Series brings a series of four adventure films to the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, narrated live by the film’s producer.  These films are shown between January and March. This exciting and educational series brings exotic and faraway places to the local Southwest Florida community.  This series usually draws between 250-300 individuals per show, and prices range from $280-$350 per couple.  Our target market is retired, affluent seniors, who love to travel and have a philanthropic interest.  This is the 10th year of our series and we typically reach our ticket goals three months before the first film showing.

We would love to have you as a sponsor for one, two, three or all four shows!  For more information about how you can get involved as a sponsor, please contact Nichole Tabellija at (239) 567-3318.

Farm Day at ECHO welcomes the public to our International Headquarters for this annual event, designed to give the visitors perspective on the world of agriculture common to the peasant farmers in developing countries.  This is an exciting day, as we give the public a chance to experience unique farming demonstrations located throughout our Global Village.  These demonstrations and workshops are designed to explore some extraordinary solutions capable of helping the poor grow their own food, as well as water purification, container gardening, edible landscaping, fruit trees, bamboo, and more.

We invite you to participate in ECHO’s Farm Day as a sponsor, as you receive the exposure of over 3,000 guests and various advertising opportunities.  For additional information about Farm Day, please contact ECHO at 543-3246, or Danielle Flood, Ext. 1301.

Have your corporate team building meeting at ECHO

ECHO offers a great environment for corporate team building, staff meetings, and luncheons.  We have a covered, screened Pavilion, complete with water and electricity for your needs.  We will be happy to recommend a nearby deli for catering if you need a lunch provider.  Your staff will enjoy the ECHO experience as they tour our Global Farm to see how ECHO is working with the poor worldwide in agriculture.  Visit our bookstore after the tour to purchase books, homemade jams and jellies from unusual fruit and plants found on the farm or pick up some seed packets!

Collaborate with us on a specific project or program

Please see the project list or contact us for specific information at (239) 567-3327.

Allow your employees to volunteer at ECHO as part of your staff volunteer program.

If you or your employees are looking for a way to become involved in the community through volunteerism, we have plenty of opportunities available. Whether they decide to do this on their own, or as a corporate group on a work team project, there is always something to do at ECHO!

Hold a third-party event to benefit the mission of ECHO

Put on a special event such as a golf or fishing tournament or special dinner to benefit ECHO and the over 3,000 organizations we serve.  They can be a fun way to include your employees in giving back.
