Here's how ECHO can help you in agricultural development:

Technical Web Site

Introducing ECHO's Technical Assistance and Knowledge Bank web site. This is a free resource for those working in developing countries trying to grow food under harsh conditions.

By visiting www.echotech.org, you will have access to a vast collection of publications and documents on plants, seeds, and project ideas useful to agricultural missionaries, development leaders, and small scale farmers.

Two of the most immediate forms of help are through ECHO's Information Service and The Seedbank.

Professional Assistance

We have a professional research staff that is ready to provide technical assistance for missionaries and others in agricultural development and food-related appropriate technologies. This Personalized Information Service of our ministry would be considered similar to an agricultural extension service for the developing world.

Please note that this service is only for those working with the poor overseas.

Seedbank

Through the web site, you will have access to ECHO's Seed Bank containing useful food, forage and agroforestry plant seeds that are available in trial packets for experimentation.  This is a very popular part ECHO's ministry. To learn more abot the seed bank, click here.
