HOW TO APPLY TO BE A VOLUNTEER

1.Fill out a volunteer application, and mail it to:

2. Once the Volunteer Office has received and reviewed your application, we will call you to schedule an interview to determine the best match between you and ECHO. You will also be called if we will be unable to use your help.
3. All volunteers are required to go on a tour before starting. Reservations are needed for parties of 10 or more, or if you will need a golf cart tour. (The walking tour is approximately 1.5 hours). Please call several days in advance.

Public tours are as follows:

Jan - Mar: Tuesday - Friday @ 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and Saturday @ 10:00 a.m.
Apr - Dec: Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday @ 10:00 a.m.

4. At the interview, we will present the volunteer opportunities that most closely match your interest(s), and in many cases, assign you to a specific volunteer assignment. We will then go over logistical information to get started!
5. If no match can be found during the interview, we will hold your application for six months and notify you if an area of interest opens up.
