We are seeking a qualified individual for our full-time Maintenance Associate who subscribes to the ECHO Statement of Faith or the Apostle’s Creed. This person is responsible for the integrated maintenance and repair on the North Fort Myers campus. A summary of duties includes providing oversight to volunteers on the maintenance of grounds, workshops, storage areas, the mowing of lawns, planting and care of ornamental plantings, removal of safety hazards, fire ant control, and removal of trash.
This position also assists the Physical Plant Supervisor with routine maintenance, repair of vehicles, buildings, equipment, and protocols. Qualified applicants will have basic knowledge of principles and practices of construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment, and applicable laws, codes, rules/regulations, and/or policies and procedures. The required education and experience is a high school diploma, general education degree (GED). Certificate from a trade/vocational institution is preferred. Two years of experience required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
