About The Course
In ECHO's Appropriate Technologies class you will have the opportunity to take food from farm to fork, get water from the ground to your glass through water purification, and get your hands dirty with natural building. The class will look at the role of appropriate technology as it relates to our basic needs for survival: food, water, and shelter.

Built into the four-day class are 3 days of classroom instruction, group learning activities, hands-on demonstration; and a day of experimental design. This will take place at the ECHO farm in North rt Myers, FL, and is intended for those seeking a broad introduction to appropriate technologies in the context of international development and Christian stewardship.
